SBCC Foundation

The SBCC Foundation provides Santa Barbara City College with private philanthropic support, working in partnership with the college to bridge the gap between available public funding and institutional need. The SBCC Foundation provides more than $4 million annually for student success programs, scholarships, book grants, and other critical programs at the college in order to support SBCC students as they prepare for careers, transfer to four-year universities, and pursue lifelong learning goals.

Following is a sample of communications materials created for the Foundation, to raise awareness and funding for important student support programs.

SBCC Promise logo design

The SBCC Promise, beginning fall semester 2016, provides any local student who completes their secondary education within the Santa Barbara Community College District with the opportunity to attend SBCC full-time for two years free of charge. The Promise uses privately raised funds to cover tuition and required fees, books, and supplies, making our community’s college fully accessible to all local students.

State Street flag design

The Santa Barbara Downtown organization’s State Street Flag program celebrates major festivals , cultural attractions and local nonprofits with weekly flag displays along the full length of the downtown State Street corridor. The SBCC Foundation flags that we designed are featured during the week of October 7-14.
