Marketing and Communications
Jennifer LeMay has worked in the communications field for over two decades and served for nearly to 10 years as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Santa Barbara City College Foundation, developing strategies to promote the Foundation its mission of supporting SBCC and empowering students to succeed. In this role, she provided direction, design, and content development for publications, advertisements, websites, social media, and all print and digital communications.
As Owner and Creative Director for J. LeMay Studios, she has worked with UC Santa Barbara, the County of Santa Barbara, Community Environmental Council, the Fund for Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Channelkeeper, Wilderness Youth Project, Idea Engineering, and many other inspiring clients.
Writer for Edible Santa Barbara magazine
Jennifer has served as a contributing writer for Edible Santa Barbara magazine since 2010, researching and writing articles about food, chefs, farms, sustainability, community gardens, and more. This beautiful quarterly publication celebrates the abundance of local food and wine throughout Santa Barbara County, shining a spotlight on the region’s exemplary farmers, fishermen, ranchers, winemakers and community food programs.

Jennifer’s art has been included in numerous group exchibitions and is on display at Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital as part of Cottage Health System’s Healing Arts Program. She enjoys creating large-scale street paintings at the I Madonnari Santa Barbara Street Painting Festival, an annual event that benefits the Children’s Creative Project.
