Based in Santa Barbara, California, J. LeMay Studios provides creative communication strategy and design services. We enjoy working with businesses and organizations that contribute to a better world through innovative products and services, public education, advocacy, social and environmental work, and the arts.
Jennifer LeMay, founder J. LeMay Studios, has provided creative design and communications services to dozens of clients for over 15 years. These include UC Santa Barbara, the County of Santa Barbara, Community Environmental Council, the Fund for Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Channelkeeper, Wilderness Youth Project, Idea Engineering, and more.
Since 2015, Jennifer has worked for the Santa Barbara City College Foundation, where she serves as Director of Marketing and Communications. In this role, she develops strategies to increase support for the Foundation and its mission of fueling the excellence at SBCC by enriching college programs, removing barriers, and empowering students to succeed. She provides direction, design, and content development for publications, advertisements, websites, social media, and all print and digital communications.
Jennifer also served for many years as a faculty member at SBCC, in the Graphic Design and Multimedia Arts and Technologies departments. Teaching at SBCC deepened her passion for visual communication while reinforcing her belief that the college is a vital resource to our community.
Her projects outside of the SBCC Foundation include writing articles for Edible Santa Barbara magazine and some illustration work (visit jlemayillustration.com). She also participates in street painting and mural projects when they arise, and finds as much time as possible to paint and exhibit her work (see paintingsbyjen.com).
